What you'll find in this directory

This is the permanent reference layer of Bollywood Life Gossip. Every entry is a full dossier on one person, not a tag page and not a stream of headlines. Each profile carries date and place of birth, height, family, education, the debut that started it all, the role that broke them through, a complete filmography with box office where reliable figures exist, award wins, and the projects they have coming.

Each profile also collects every story we have published about that person, so the page stays current as their career moves. A dossier tells you who someone is; the news attached to it tells you what they are doing this week.

How we handle what isn't settled

Entertainment reporting runs on incomplete information, and most sites blur the difference between a fact and a well-sourced guess. We label it instead. Anything on these pages is marked as one of three things:

• Confirmed: announced officially, or on the record from the person involved.
• Reported: carried by credible outlets, but not officially confirmed.
• Rumoured: circulating in the trade, and clearly flagged as unverified.

Rumoured relationships are hidden by default rather than presented as news. Claims about anyone's health, finances or private life need two independent sources before we publish them, and where a widely repeated claim turns out to be wrong, we say so on the page rather than quietly dropping it. Our Editorial Policy sets out the full standard.

Who we cover

We cover Hindi cinema first, and the South Indian industries where they meet it, which increasingly is most of the time. That means established leads and character actors alongside the OTT generation who built their audience on streaming rather than at the box office. We would rather publish one complete, checked profile than fifty thin ones, so this directory grows deliberately.
